High Performance Coaching

Our coaching approach focuses on building leadership & management strengths to facilitate the improvement of business or department results – everything we do is focused on growth at individual & business/organisational levels.

At an individual level, 360o degree assessment is often used to benchmark individuals’ leadership behavioural competencies against global business leaders as well as providing valuable feedback on how they are perceived by their colleagues in their own company. This grounds our solutions in global best practice & well researched methodologies.

Each coaching session will be different, highly tailored to the needs of each individual & will be underpinned by both challenging them to reach beyond where they are now & supporting them in achieving their goals.

Typical steps in the coaching process would include:

  1. Individual takes on-line psychometric:  Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
  2. Individual identifies 6 suitable people to complete the 360o assessment instrument (Emotional and Social Competency Inventory - ESCI)
  3. A coach who appears to best meet the needs of the particular individual is chosen.
  4. The coach meets the individual for the initial one and a half hour session, works through the results of the above test & discusses them in the context of the role of the individual in question & the evidence to date.
  5. The coach and the individual work out a set of strengths & development areas based on the above & create the start of an action plan for helping him or her to both build on his or her strengths and correct for any weaknesses.
  6. In following sessions the coach will challenge & support the individual through the action plan.

Typically a coaching programme for an individual will be between 2 and 6 sessions, held on a monthly basis.

Personal Development

A journey of Personal Development  

We deliver stand-alone courses in Presentation Skills & Assertiveness, helping managers to gain confidence & perform strongly. 

Presentation Skills 

This intensive one-day course is designed for those who need to make professional presentations with high impact. It is aimed at enhancing the professional presentation skills of each individual through a series of carefully designed exercises followed by skills practise & sensitive but honest feedback. It will show participants how to prepare effectively for any presentation situation & deliver with impact.

This course will be tailored specifically to the needs of the company & the individual participants. In order to maximise personal learning, it is advisable to keep the number of participants to eight in total.

Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will:

  • Know how to really connect with each audience member
  • Be able to prepare excellent and memorable presentations
  • Understand how they personally can make the strongest impact when presenting
  • Be able to make excellent sales presentations to large and small groups
  • Be able to use the latest communication methodology to really change minds
  • Understand how to tailor the presentation specifically to their audience
  • Be able to deliver professionally every time

 This course is also available on an individual basis.

Assertiveness 

The aim of this intensive one-day course is to develop the skills necessary to achieve more from both work & personal life by learning to say what you want, whilst understanding that the key to assertiveness is achieving what you want without violating the rights of others.

The course will clearly help those who feel that they try to avoid all types of conflict & avoid dealing with situations through fear, along with those at the other end of the spectrum who relish conflict & show little consideration for others.

Team Building

Our highly customised team building events are designed to meet both needs & expectations of specific teams.

However, we usually suggest a blend of workshop sessions that focus on current organisational realities & combine this with outdoor challenges that carefully integrate fun & learning. We facilitate the workshops, which take place first, & based on our observations of group interactions, enable the group to optimise their outdoor learning.

Although it is challenging, these events often conclude with a “hot seat” experience in which each team member exchanges views with his/her colleagues on needs/role clarifications/expectations, etc.

These workshops may be run for a half day, one full day or one and a half days, depending on the specific needs of the team.
